Our cooperation started in 2011, and we have been fully satisfied with our joint work and the quality of the services performed. UAB “Pramones Irenginiai” is our agent for Belarus acting based on the agency agreement.

We have already visited Belarus many times, first to make presentations, and then for business negotiations for our projects. As our local agent UAB “Pramones Irenginiai” helps us a lot in communicating with local partners, looked for new customers, projects and business opportunities, makes local arrangements, including interpretation, transportation support and accommodation.

Our agent has done a really great job organizing a lot of high-level meetings with the management of Belarusian companies. UAB “Pramones Irenginiai” has a very professional team who is well aware of the situation on the market, has an excellent networking experience and can advise how to better handle local issues and who to contact to establish a close business relationship. Language barriers are also easily overcome with the translation and interpretation support provided by our agent.

4. What is your experience in working on the Belarusian market?

Our group of companies has extensive experience all over the world. In Belarus we are particularly interested in the pulp and paper industry. Even though Belarus is a seemingly small market, it is quite interesting and challenging. We believe in the future of this country.

5. What difficulties did you face when entering the Belarusian market?

There were certain challenges, just like in any other country of the world. You just have to know the local rules and regulations, and then act accordingly with all respect to local law and business tradition. As we have a reliable, supportive representative in Belarus most of the cultural differences could be settled easily.

6. What are the future prospects for international companies in the Belarusian market, in your opinion?

 It definitely bears a great potential for companies which offer mechanical engineering of machinery, process equipment and maintenance.

The only challenge we faced while entering the Belarusian market was actually the finding of a suitable and trustworthy representative in Belarus.

Belarusian market is a market with high potential for companies in the customized machinery sector as well as for companies in the mechanical engineering sector in particular.
